ORLANDO 2023 UPDATE

It is with great disappointment and deep regret that we are announcing the cancellation of Playlist Live Orlando 2023.

 

Due to logistical factors completely outside of our control it has now become impossible for us to proceed with the 2023 event as planned. We understand the gravity of this situation and the impact this cancellation has within the industry and to our fans. We want to assure you that we did everything in our power to ensure Playlist Live 2023 was a success but have now had to make the extremely difficult decision to cancel to make sure that all Playlist Live events continue being produced with the highest level of professionalism and commitment to excellence.

 

It is never easy to cancel an event that has seen tremendous success in the past, and we are devastated that we have had to make this decision. As many of you know, Playlist Live has been an iconic digital influencer event for more than a decade, and we have always strived to create an unforgettable experience for both fans and creators alike.

 

We apologize to all of our fans, creators, and partners who were looking forward to attending Playlist Live 2023. We understand the disappointment and frustration that this news brings, and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience it has caused. We are committed to doing everything we can to make it up to our community and will be exploring new ways to bring you the best in digital content and live experiences in the near future.

Refunds are being processed to all passholders by Friday May 26, 2023. Hotel room reservations at the Orlando World Center Marriott have been cancelled with no penalty fees. For information regarding pass refunds and hotel reservations, please read through the frequently asked questions below.

Below are some answers to frequently asked questions.

I bought a ticket to Playlist Live; how do I get a refund?

 

Our team is automatically processing refunds for orders where possible via the original payment method of Credit Card, Paypal, ShopPay, etc. However, due to varying restrictions of your card issuer, it may not have allowed us to process your refund due to how long ago you made your purchase. Typically, credit cards and Paypal do not allow refunds for transactions older than 120 days (orders placed before approximately mid-January 2023).

For orders placed prior to this window or orders that we cannot refund to the original payment method, we have already issued a refund check for your entire order amount to the address submitted with your order. If you have any questions about the status of your refund, please check your credit card or Paypal account in 10 business days. If you don't see a refund posted, your refund is most likely in the mail on it's way to the address submitted with your original orders.

Will all the passes under my order be refunded at the same time?

Yes, all passes under your order will be cancelled and a refund for the entire order will be refunded.

When will my tickets by refunded?

We are processing all refunds via credit card and Paypal this week. Many credit card providers (and Paypal) will not allow us to electronically refund transactions older than approximately 120 days (orders placed before mid-January). If your order is older than that, we will dispatch a full refund check to the address submitted with your order.

 

For credit card or Paypal refunds, please allow up to 10 business days for your bank to process the refund. If you have not received your refund by June 1st, please reach out to us via the contact form below. Be sure to include your order number for reference.

Is there a deadline to request a refund?

No. All orders will be automatically refunded to their original payment method (where possible). If your credit card or Paypal rejected our automatic refund for any reason, our team will mail a full refund check to the address submitted with your order no later than Friday May 26, 2023.

Will my refund include the ticketing Service Fee I paid?

Yes, you will receive a full refund for everything we charged you; however, any currency conversion fees, bank fees, overdraft fees, or other charges by your bank to you that are associated with your purchase or refund remain solely your responsibility.

I have a different credit card now. How do I get my refund?

Our team will attempt to refund all transactions using their original payment method (credit card, Paypal, ShopPay, etc). Card issuers and banks sometimes allow credits to process to your account even if the original card has changed; however, if the refund fails to process to the original payment method, know that our team will issue a full refund check to the address submitted with your order.

I bought a ticket to Playlist Live Orlando 2023, can I use it for next year's event?

No. All tickets to this year's event are being fully refunded. You will need to purchase a new ticket for future events. Follow us on our socials for more information about future events.

I booked a hotel room at the Orlando World Center Marriott, can I cancel my room without a penalty?

All room reservations booked under the Playlist Live room block at the Orlando World Center Marriott have been cancelled without penalty. You do not need to call them. You will receive an email from the hotel on or before Tuesday, May 30, 2023, confirming your room reservation has been released and  no fees have been charged to your credit card. There is nothing else you need to do.

If you'd like to personally contact the hotel to verify your reservation status, we recommend you reach out to them directly.

I still want to keep my room at the Orlando World Center Marriott over Labor Day Weekend, how do I do that?

All room reservations booked through Playlist Live at the Orlando World Center Marriott have been cancelled without penalty. If you want to book a new reservation with the Orlando World Center Marriott, please call their reservation line directly to create a new reservation.

Why did you cancel the event?

Due to last-minute logistical issues completely outside of our team's control, we had no choice but to make the difficult decision to cancel Playlist Live Orlando 2023.

What if I purchased my flight already?
 

While Playlist Live is not responsible for travel related refunds, we recommend you contact your airline directly and see what options are available to you. Many airlines will offer credits or refunds with advance notice, so please contact them as soon as you can!

What if I was selected to be a Community Creator this year, will I have to reapply for next year’s event?

Yes, you would need to reapply for any future events however, strong consideration will be given since you had previously been selected to be a Community Creator for the 2023 event.
