Anti-Harassment:

Playlist Live is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.  Event participants can be speakers, performers, Creators, attendees, parents, staff, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors or anyone in attendance at Playlist Live.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply instantly. Event participants who break these rules may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the Playlist Live organizers. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion and actions such as deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other functions, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Exhibitors in the expo hall, or sponsored activations are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, exhibitors should not use over-sexualized images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use over-sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of event staff immediately. Event staff can be identified by Playlist Live t-shirts. Event staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.

Notice of Filming:

​

All attendees at the event consent to being filmed or recorded (images and sound) by or on behalf of Playlist Live or another authorized third party and consent to their images (or likenesses) being used in any film, recording, photograph or other footage (“Recording”) of the event. Playlist Live and/or the authorized third party shall own all rights in the Recording. You agree that any Recording may be used by Playlist Live or an authorized third party in any media and for any purpose throughout the world, including, without limitation, for promotional materials and activities, merchandise, DVD’s or other commercial activities. No payment or compensation for use of your image or likeness shall be payable to you.

Entry to Playlist Live Events:

​

Playlist Live reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse admission to any person and/or to eject any person from the event if it considers that person’s behavior or conduct is causing, or is likely to cause (without limitation), damage; injury; nuisance; or distress to others. No refund will be given.

​

All attendees must produce a valid credential to gain entry to the event and upon request for inspection. Failure to produce your credential on request may result in you being ejected from the event without a refund.

Notice of Search:​

​

In order to ensure Playlist Live is a safe environment, we may search you, your clothing, bags or other items at any time at our sole discretion. When considered necessary by Building Management or Playlist Live, all guests, sponsors, exhibitors and/or show personnel may be subject to a visual or full search prior to entering the event space.  A visual search may consist of the following: the guest being asked to open any coat, bag or containers of any type. Security will visually scan all guests as they enter the facility for contraband noted below. A full search consists of the following: the guest being asked to open any coats, bag or containers of any type and also being physically patted down or screened with a metal detector. Refusal or failure to cooperate in any search may result in you being refused entry or being ejected from the event without refund.

We reserve the right to prohibit certain items within the event space from time to time. Prohibited items include (without limitation):

​

• Large bags, backpacks, duffle bags or boxes

• Coolers or other similar containers

• Weapons of any kind or that could be construed as a weapon

• Illegal substances 

• Any other items, which we believe may cause danger or disruption at the event (regardless of whether or not they are illegal or carried for a specific purpose).

Prohibited Items at the Event:​

​

• Laser pens or laser products

• Firearms, knives or weapons of any kind

• Projectiles

• Oversized signs (larger than 2′ x 3′)

• Stickers & balloons

• Heelys, skateboards or roller-skates

• Sticks or poles

• Wrapped gifts for Creators

All prohibited items must be disposed of or surrendered before, or upon, entry to the event. Failure to surrender any prohibited items may result in you being refused entry or being ejected from the event without a refund.

Theft / Loss of Property​

​

It is your responsibility to keep your personal possessions safe at all times while at the event. Neither Playlist Live nor the Venue shall be liable for the loss, damage or theft of any items.

If you suspect an item has been taken, please report it to Event or Venue personnel.  If you have lost an item while at the event, please contact the Venue’s Lost & Found department.
